Our co-founder, Dilshan, spearheaded sales and brand positioning at Karpaha Sands, transforming what was once a quiet East Coast property into a revenue-generating destination that now attracts travellers year-round. Located in a rural part of the island, the project required considerable commitment, strategic thinking and attention to detail to establish its market presence. With a clear long-term vision of achieving an average room rate (ARR) of USD 400 or more per night, TTS remained focused on building a sustainable premium product. The long nights and countless journeys to the property paid off, with Karpaha Sands now recognised as one of the East Coast’s leading premium hospitality offerings.

    Introduction to the Chinese market

John Keells Properties entrusted TTS with its first outsourced sales team, signing a three-year agreement. During this period, TTS introduced over 50 travel agents to Victoria Golf Resort, including new Chinese partners who brought guests for golf and leisure stays. With over 40 rooms across three categories, the resort presented a significant sales challenge due to its relatively unfamiliar location. Establishing strategic travel agent partnerships was therefore essential to driving demand and improving occupancy. This partnership became one of TTS’s most successful projects to date, demonstrating our ability to generate incremental revenue through targeted sales strategies and strong industry relationships.
